  1. The American people were winners in this debate. They each showed that the American people are what’s important and that their focus would be on the USA.

  2. Ron Paul crushed this debate, hands down. Principled, consistent, well-thought out answers to the issues that actually affect our lives on a daily basis.

  3. I was very happy with Ron Paul.. I am with Christopher! No more used car salesman! They always break down after the three month love affair is over. We need a solid statesmen.

  4. Simply put. 1.) Ron Paul is the only one who has been applauded almost every time in the last 2 debates. 2.) Mitt Romney either ducked the question, or bashed Obama. He is such a used car salesman I was waiting for that little *ding!* sparkle to come off his smile. I will give Cain his due, he was succinct, he has some fresh ideas, and at this point he is my number 2. 3.) Gingrich needs to jump off a bridge, he is what is wrong with the republican party. 4.) The rest of the field is MIND NUMBING.

  5. Ron Paul, hands down. He actually answered the questions intelligently and offered solutions, whereas everybody else who debated just focused on browbeating Obama and talked about how great they are without actually going into detail about what they would actually do to help the country.

  7. Ron Paul all the way! For our freedom and basic human dignity’s sake, America needs to just listen to what Ron Paul is saying, He’s the only one who will actually follow through and address the issues we face. Obama has betrayed liberals, I say hey Dr. Paul won’t make promises he can’t keep. Let’s end these wars and rollback the Bush police state now!!!

  9. Ron Paul is absolutely killing it, and by a much larger margin than the last FOX News debate.

Clearly, Ron Paul is the best candidate running AND he was the best candidate running in 2008. A lot more people have awakened to that fact this time around and a lot of that has to do with the work of Paul’s supporters (although mostly his fantastic message of liberty and common sense approach to government).

I’ve seen sites pulling down their polls because of Paul winning. We won’t be doing that, and not because almost everyone on staff here is a supporter of Paul. Those sites that take down their polls or remove Ron Paul from the list need to realize that it isn’t a few people spamming, or gaming polls, it’s that Paul has REAL support and a grassroots that actually cares.

Couldn’t agree more with all the comments left so far.

  10. Ron Paul is the best candidate regardless of the debate. Most Americans will not take the time to research his platform but I have and know he is the only candidate that understands freedom and the economy.

  11. I’m a former Democrat who voted for Obama in 08′. I’ll be supporting Ron Paul this time around to end these damn wars!

  12. 1) Ron Paul: Doesn’t smile enough, but delightfully incorruptible and right-on.

    2) Bachmann: “I have my fingers in everything, and I have been waiting for a chance to tell you that.”

    3) Mitt Romney: Party Line, which means he will compromise under pressure.

    4) Newt Gingrich: Lots of knowledge, but always offering tentative policies, i.e., “We have to get serious”

    5) Santorum: Doesn’t look mean enough to be president

    6) Pawlenty: Same as Santorum

    7) Cain: “I will gather the experts and decide everything later.”

  14. Ron Paul killed this, but I have to admit Romney is going to be a challenger to Pauls nomination. Pawlenty and Santorum sounded like Ron Paul lap-dogs, and the rest sounded like Ron Paul wanna-be’s. It’s funny…Ron has been saying these things for years, now they all say it because they realize it was true all along.

  15. Incredible, every answer sounded like it had been ripped from Ron Paul’s 2008 bid for the nomination! At the time he was scoffed and mocked, today his answers are common sense. I can’t wait for 2016 when the abolishment of the drug war will be everyone’s position but of course that’s where they were the entire time, I mean just look at their records! Stooges, Ron Paul is a modern day prophet, and I pray the people will listen, but if Scripture’s taught me one thing it’s that prophets are always ridiculed, marginalized, and eventually prosecuted for warning the people of their impending doom, by those he came to save. I’m not a cynic but I don’t think the establishment, nay the citizens of Sodom and Go- I mean America, are ready to give up their allusion of safety and security or their faith in their inerrent god-kings. Nonetheless, I’ll support the good Dr. with every fiber of my being, regardless of the outcome.

    In Liberty,
    Luis

  16. Shifty Mitt Romney never answers the question posed by the moderator. Ron Paul showed once again why he is our best chance for 2012. He always addresses the question from the moderator and ALWAYS answers it with his true feelings on the issue.

  17. Clearly Ron Paul. Congressman Paul’s Record:

He has never voted to raise taxes.
He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
He has never taken a government-paid junket.
He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.
He voted against the Patriot Act.
He voted against regulating the Internet.
He voted against the Iraq war.
He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.
He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.

  18. I voted for bush and then obama we got the EXACT same result.

I’m voting for Ron Paul next time hoping for something different.

      • Well to be fair, Obama did run on the promise of ending the wars and generally not being Bush’s third term.

Glad that you’re voting for Paul this time Jade.

  21. Rather ragged debate, so much time wasted on drivel . Yes Ron Paul was the shinning star, Pretty stanch and unbending in his message. Nice job Ron Paul, looking forward too much more

  23. So now you know. If Ron Paul does not win the election, it is RIGGED. Any TV station showing someone other than Paul leading is LYING and providing FALSE information, like CNN.

  25. Its like you learn my thoughts! You appear to know so much about this, such as you wrote the ebook in it or something. I think that you could do with a few % to pressure the message home a bit, but instead of that, this is great blog. A fantastic read. I’ll definitely be back.

  26. “Those who would trade some liberty in exchange for some safety deserve neither liberty, nor safety”

    ~Benjamin Franklin

RON PAUL 2012!!! A true Statesman
