Razzle dazzle! NBA Jam: On Fire Edition is hitting the Playstation Network this coming Tuesday, October 4th, for $14.99. It'll be available on XBLA on October 5th for 1200MS Points. The downloadable title features an all new co-op campaign in which you and a buddy team up to take on all 30 NBA teams and some special teams as well. There's also competitive online play, and a career mode that they are saying will unlock the most legends, teams, and other goodies than has ever appeared in an NBA Jam game before. Career mode is also suppose to be "deep and persistent." Tag mode from the 16-bit era is back, where you controlled both players. You can even send your partner up for an alley-oop, or call on them to shove someone. The developers say they've made over 1000 tweaks to the game, … [Read more...]

If you're a PS3 owner, there's a little game coming out on November 1st that you may have heard of called Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. Okay, it's not a little game and you've definitely heard of it; it is after all kind of a big deal and one of the most anticipated titles of the Holiday season. Well good news, beginning this Saturday, October 1st, you'll be able to experience the full Uncharted 3 multiplayer. Well competitive multiplayer anyway. Every cup is a guaranteed … [Read more...]

Assassin’s Creed: Revelations Delayed Until December For PC

If you are a PC gamer who has been looking forward to Assassin's Creed: Revelations, you're going to have to wait and look forward to it a little longer. Ubisoft has confirmed that the PC version of Revelations has been delayed until December. The game was scheduled to release on November 15th, same day as the PS3 and Xbox 360 version (both of which will still launch that day). Of course this shouldn't come as any surprise for any Assassin's Creed PC fan, it happens every time and most probably expected it. No date was announced beyond simply "December," and I'm sure there are plenty of PC gamers who expect another delay past December. Hopefully that won't be the case. … [Read more...]

Eddie Guerrero’s Entrance In WWE ’12

Yeah, I marked for that entrance. Eddie Guerrero will be a huge part of my WCW relaunch in my Universe... maybe even the inaugural champion. THQ is almost finished revealing the profiles for all the announced superstars. Of course some of the ones I have been wanting to see they were announced at SummerSlam are still amongst the unactivated. But, soon we will be able to see the entrance for Demolition (Ax and Smash), Vader, Kevin Nash, Sheamus, Booker T, and Arn Anderson (amongst others). There's also still a mystery superstar that has yet to be announced. My guess there is Brock Lesnar and that's simply because it would be "huge" and makes the most sense given that he and Dana White have talked with McMahon, and THQ makes the UFC game. WWE '12 hits stores on November 22nd for … [Read more...]

I Am Alive Coming This Winter To XBLA/PSN, Trailer

It was announced several years back, and then seldom heard of again, but Ubisoft's I Am Alive is finally coming out this winter as a downloadable title through XBLA and PSN. Watch the "comeback" trailer to check out a decent variety of gameplay (including some Assassin's Creed style traversal and first person combat). The known story seems to be pretty simple at this point. A city has been destroyed, for the most part, via some disaster, and the main character (an everyman) has survived the initial disaster and is on a journey to find his wife and daughter. Of course there are other survivors, and they aren't very nice, so you'll also get plenty of combat or fleeing as the hunter and the hunted. It looks good and interesting, and it's nice to finally hear something about this game … [Read more...]
