Tonight's the night! It's the season finale of Spartacus Vengeance, and frankly I'm still giddy over last week's amazing episode (best episode of all time IMO... it didn't take long to top Libertus). This show really needs to more than ten episodes in a season; January is too far away! The show's creator, Stephen DeKnight, has said that this finale will make "Kill Them All" (the Blood and Sand finale) look like a tea party and warned fans would be devastated and to keep a box of tissues handy for all the tears. It's not a question of IF someone is going to die in tonight's finale, but rather WHO and HOW MANY? I'm thinking we can say goodbye to Glaber, Illythia, Ashur, The Egyptian, Naevia, Nassir (or Agron), and unfortunately Oenomaus. I wouldn't be surprised to see Mira fall either. … [Read more...]

Winter is coming…
I have to admit, I feel somewhat foolish that this game seemingly snuck up on me until recently. For anyone that hasn't seen the show, remedy that situation immediately. My dad watched season 1 last year, raved about it, so I picked it up on BluRay a few weeks ago...it was a wise purchase. This fantastic show will be coming to Xbox 360, PS3, and PC on May 15th from ATLUS, and while most games based off of movies and TV shows are usually mediocre at best, this one, to me, seems ready made to be a very solid RPG. If it isn't, I think I might cry. From what I have read so far, you play as one of two characters that fought in the rebellion that allowed King Robert to ascend to the throne. From there I'm not sure where the story goes, but it almost seems like a bit of a prequel to … [Read more...]

Atelier Meruru: The Apprentice of Arland Official Trailer
NIS America has posted an official trailer for Atelier Meruru: The Apprentice of Arland on YouTube, which you can check out above. I said back in January that I was interested in this, and I'm even more so now. Cute JRPG's can be a lot of fun, and I've watched a ton of videos from this series (particularly the Arland ones), and this looks like great fun to me in a manner not as intense as a lot of games (especially Western ones). If you're interested in this, and hopefully you are, you won't have to wait too much longer. The game hits Playstation 3 in about two months; May 22nd. … [Read more...]

Today on WWE.com, "the WWE Board of Directors" released a memo announcing a huge 12-man tag match to take place at WrestleMania 28 with big ramifications. The match will be comprised of six men representing RAW interim-GM John Laurinaitis and six representing Smackdown general manager Teddy Long. Which ever team wins, that GM will become the permanent general manager of both RAW and Smackdown (further cementing the brand split as useless).
