The demo for NCAA Football 13 hit Xbox LIVE yesterday. As of now, it’s finally up on PSN, and it’s about 3GB.
If you plan on buying NCAA Football 13 you’ll definitely want to download the demo, as playing and sharing it as some rewards for you.
From the NCAA Football 13 website: http://www.easports.com/ncaa-football/news/article/get-the-demo
“As a reward for checking out the demo, we are going to give you three Heisman Challenge athletes for use in the full retail version of NCAA Football 13. By completing each of the three demo matchups (either through the Heisman Challenge or the Dynasty experience) you will unlock classic Heisman winners Jim Plunkett, Tim Brown, and Archie Griffin.
In addition to the Heisman Challenge unlocks, we are also giving you 5 Nike Pro Combat uniforms just for telling a friend to check out the NCAA Football 13 demo. All you need to do is share the demo once and you will unlock the Nike Pro Combat uniforms for Navy, Stanford, Ohio State, LSU, and Boise State:”
You certainly can’t beat free stuff for checking out a demo.
Here’s what the demo offers players a look at:
Users can take to the field in one of three games taking place during Week 10 of the upcoming college football season. Throughout their chosen game, players will be able to see the rest of the college football landscape unfold via the new ESPN Bottom Line ticker and live Studio Updates with analyst Rece Davis. Each game starts at a different time of day, demonstrating the different ways the day’s stories can be told through the Bottom Line ticker and Studio Updates. The matchups in the demo are:
· Kansas State at Baylor (12:00pm Kickoff)
· Oregon at USC (3:30pm Kickoff)
· Alabama at LSU (8:00pm Kickoff)
The demo also allows players to take on the persona of 2011 Heisman Trophy winner and NCAA Football 13 cover athlete Robert Griffin III, and experience a game through his eyes. After listening to Griffin tell the story of how he chose Baylor, players can rewrite history by inserting Griffin as the starting quarterback on any of the six schools included in the demo. With Griffin at the helm, users can utilize the QB’s incredible mobility and passing acumen to carve up opposing defenses. Further enhancing the experience, players can trigger Reaction Time to literally slow down the action and evade defenders, spot open receivers and find the perfect opportunity to score.
NCAA Football 13 hits Xbox 360 and PS3 on July 10th, and I’m looking forward to starting a new dynasty with either Alabama or Florida and getting pumped for the upcoming college football season. I’ll be back later tonight with my NCAA Football 13 Demo Impressions article.
