This is really is a new Super Mario World, and finally Mario in HD! This is a “system seller,” heck it’s one of the key reasons I pre-ordered the Wii U and the first game I’ll be getting for the new system (well besides Nintendo Land, and that’s because I went with the deluxe).
You can’t go wrong with Mario, especially when it’s a classic 2D platformer (although I have to say I’m really looking forward to seeing the first 3D Mario game for Wii U, which I’m personally hoping is Galaxy 3).
New Super Mario Bros. U will be in stores November 18th, which of course is the day Wii U launches as well. About time a proper Mario game launches alongside a Nintendo console again. Can’t wait!
Please Nintendo get some more units out there before the launch!
