Here’s The BioShock Infinite Launch Trailer

BioShock Infinite hits stores tomorrow (already available for those of you who live in the EST timezone), and here’s the official launch trailer for the game courtesy of 2K Games.

BioShock Infinite is getting some great review scores from other outlets, and we hope/plan to have two Infinite reviews going up later this week (one for PC, and one covering the consoles that will be reviewed from the PS3 version).

Are you picking up Infinite? If so, let us know in the comments (and what you think of the game if you’ve been playing it. It’s available for PS3, X-Box 360, and PC.

  1. Will be getting the PC version some time later today. I can’t wait. The only quibbles I’ve seen mention some of the writing but overall the game is clearly a home run across the boards and very likely something people talk about for quite a while after the fact just like they did after the first one came out.

I don’t know if the console versions have this but the PC version has a 1999 mode in terms of difficulty and also has menu options to turn off some of the “handholding.”

I had someone who was actually a beta tester recommend playing the game on hard instead of normal for best balance, which is unusual. For most of these games normal is typically the “safe” bet so we’ll see.

    Can’t wait!

    • I’m hopefully the game will be here today. 1999 mode is on the console versions too, and there’s a trophy/achievement associated with the mode.

I plan on starting off with Hard anyway, simply to prevent having to play-through it three times (there’s a trophy for easy, normal, hard, and 1999 mode… beat the game on hard to start with and that’ll take care of three of those.)
