The Last of Us released this past Friday, and of course, it was a hugely anticipated PS3 exclusive. Reviews from the larger Metacritic outlets went up weeks ago, and so by now people who may have been on the fence before will have seen dozens and dozens of all positive reviews and have likely purchased the game. The latest WWE Studios film to star a WWE Superstar released last Tuesday directly to DVD. I typically find WWE films to be okay at best, but never “offensive.” They’re always the type of movie that is worth watching at least once if you can find it on one of the movie channels. The Sony E3 conference tonight might as well have been a love letter to PlayStation fans and gamers who don't like unnecessary restrictions placed on them, as Sony continued to show that they have learned from their mistakes. It was basically music to our ears after weeks of Microsoft laying it on thick with the BS and angering a ton of gamers in the process. PS4 will hit store shelves this Holiday, and it'll cost $399. For those keeping score, that is $100 less than Xbox One... that machine with mandatory Kinect, horrible used game DRM, and that needs to connect to the Internet once every 24 hours for you to have the permission to play that game you bought but don't own. Sony Details How Used Games & Sharing Games Works On PS4

Sony detailed its policed for used games during their press conference today, and it's really quite complicated. So the good folks over at Sony created this helpful video to show how you can share your physical used game... Yes, Sony struck pretty hard at Microsoft tonight. PS4 features no used game DRM; your physical copies work just as they always have and you're free to sell, trade, lend, give, or borrow as much as you want. Also, your single player games will work when you're offline. Imagine that. The console never has to be connected to the Internet, ever. Again, imagine that. Xbox One Releases in November, Will Cost $499

Microsoft announced the price and launch month of Xbox One today near the end of their price conference, and to it would be an understatement to say it's a bit steep. Xbox One will hit stores in November, and it'll retail for $499. I wasn't interest in the system since all their DRM and 24-hour check in stuff was revealed, but I definitely wouldn't be in for that price anyway. If you're interested in the system though, you can pre-order it now from the retailer of your choice. I'd go with Amazon for the free shipping and no sales tax. If you pre-order it, you'll get the "Day One" edition, which includes a limited edition controller, token code to unlock Day One achievement, premium packaging, and decal. We believe that if all you want is gaming, you’ll still pick us, at the end of the day. That quote is from Phil Spencer, Microsoft Studios' corporate vice president. Well, Mr. Spencer, all I want from a console is gaming, which is exactly what I'll never pick Xbox One EVER. I should be writing my E3 predictions for Sony right now, and I should be writing a review of 12 Rounds 2: Reloaded and Ring of Fire, but I’m not. No, I’m writing about Xbox One… AGAIN. Microsoft Finally Provides Firm Details Regarding Used Games and Required Internet for Xbox One, And Yes They Are Screwing Consumers

Pre-E3 surprise, Microsoft has finally gotten their stuff together and released pretty much all the details regarding used game DRM and Internet requirements for Xbox One. Some of this stuff doesn't sound bad, but make no mistake Microsoft is firmly screwing consumers (or would be consumers I suppose). LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Assemble to Take on The Destroyer in These New Screenshots

Some new screenshots from the upcoming LEGO Marvel Super Heroes game have been released, and you can view them all in the gallery below (click on them to get a bigger and better looking version). The new screenshots show some of our favorite heroes (Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, and Wolverine) battling the armored Destroyer, which is controlled by Thor's arch-enemy, Loki. LEGO Marvel Super Heroes will be at E3 next week, so expect some gameplay footage to be posted them. In the meantime, enjoy the screenshots below.
