Drones in the United States of America. Amerika as a Police State is almost here.

I’m just going to throw this out there because it’s yet another component of what’s happening quickly in the USA and a lot of people aren’t paying attention.

It’s serious enough that the mainstream media has even started to mention it in between seemingly endless wall to wall coverage of gay marriage and the John Edwards trial.

Regardless of your views, folks, are there not ANY more important things going on in the USA and the world then gay marriage? Honestly?

Well how does this work for you: The drones being used overseas in Afghanistan and Iraq against terrorists are coming to a law enforcement agency near you real soon to “help fight crime.” Don’t you feel safer already?

I have no illusions that come hell or high water it’s just a matter of time before we these sorts of concepts everywhere and not just in the United States.

What should alarm any halfwit at this point if they can wake up long enough from Twitter and Dancing with the Stars and stuffing their face and scratching their crotch with God knows what is the fact that the good ole USA has slipped THIS far down the tubes of losing basic liberty and freedoms that we’re looking at a day in the near future where it’s just like the scene in the Tom Cruise movie Minority Report. Everyone’s seen that movie. There’s a scene in the beginning where that Swat teams busts in right after their handy drone sets thing up for them.

Aw, that was just Spielberg and far off science fiction back in 2002. Well, ten years later here we are. How ya like these apples?

This is a concept, by the way, that isn’t nor will it be confined to the USA by a mile. IMO it goes hand in glove with a number of concepts and the overall theme LA has been getting at around here as of late.

Yes, liberals, I’m going to quote “Faux News” here for this one reason: Charles Krauthammer. A person that a lot of people across all spectrum’s respect even if they don’t agree with him. What I want to everyone notice is even how the usually clueless Mara Liasson is even concerned about the implications of these drones coming here in the USA.

CK is as neoconservative of a New World Order person as there is out there and if even HE is sounding alarms like this, folks, you have to pay attention.

Read this transcript. Look at CK bringing the thunder here. He’s dead on here.

To make some of you feel better, here’s some other non Fox News sources:

A little UK action. You bet international media is watching this because if it does down here in the USA you can bet the EU will follow suit in short order along with plenty of other places. Hey, if liberty lovin’ USA does it, it can’t be bad, right?

Here ya go folks. For those of you that just can’t see Fox News without having an embolism. Use a search engine and there’s plenty more where this came from.

Don’t be surprised if you end up concluding what I have in recent years: You really can better news from media outside of the USA most of the time even about things happening inside the USA but I digress.

http://mediamatters.org/blog/201205150008

There you go liberals. You beloved Media Matters that has a deliberate sabotage and terrorist smearing campaign against “Faux News.” Even THEY are concerned about this.

If Judge Napolitano was implying or suggesting that people should shoot these things down if they see them? Good. That’s the response something like this deserves. If he isn’t saying it, I am.

This is scary stuff, folks. This is real. This is NOW. This isn’t some guy on radio or youtube talking about “I’m putting up my red screen on my website and going down to my bunker because ‘my sources told me’ or ‘someone wrote me an email” or hysterics like that. This is even cracking through gay marriage coverage and Obama Romney soundfarts coverage in the mainstream media.

Drones are here in the USA and it isn’t going to be just the big boy Feds using them. Your local police want them too. Look it all up. You wish I were just making this up.

Indulge my imagination for a moment as I go ahead and spell out what I think is at least a good 50/50 chance of happening before this decade is out if this country continues down the course we’ve been headed. And honestly? If it isn’t Obama leading it, it’ll be someone else in our one party system masquerade although I think it’s pretty clear he’s the Anointed One to finish us off to take us into the New World Order. No less than Henry Kissinger has bragged about that in the open press for years. Look it up.

So imagine before long we go down the road of Greece ’round here which I can assure you we will as we continue to foment deliberate class and race warfare around here and economic conditions continue to decline under trillions of an unfathomable debt. It’s unsustainable.

So you have “another crisis that can’t go to waste” and Dear Leader in his second term flips order for national state of emergency and he’s got these drones in his back pocket. Oh yeah, by the way, local enforcements are going to be getting some drones for themselves, too. You can look this all up all over the place. Even the mainstream media isn’t completely ignoring it so now you know it’s serious. He’s already shown he has no problems signing an executive order to assassinate American citizens overseas. Yes, the guy was a terrorists, but I thought liberals were all big on showing how tolerant and enlightened we are by letting everyone go through our legal system? Oh I’m sorry, that’s only for non citizen hardcore Islamic terrorists. Do the math there. For someone that got a Nobel Peace Prize just for being selected (not elected) and based on expectations and imaginations…do the math there, too…this guy sure has racked up a heck of a body count. What happened to capturing enemies and getting intel off of them? Nevermind, just kill ‘em all!  He’s this great War Hero but he’s a Nobel Peace Prize winner, too. Right. That’s ok with the bulk of his supporters that were somehow up in arms over the wars we were in in the first place and we can’t ever interrogate people or use the death penalty and hug trees and all the rest of it.

How you do reconcile that? Oh, because it’s “GoBama!”  What a bunch of crap. Straight to dictatorship but he sounds great when he’s reading off that teleprompter and scratching our ears! Anything he does it’s fine no matter what. Talk about a delusion. Wow. Hitler had the same sway over the masses in Germany leading up into World War 2. National Socialism. Same broad concept. Different coat of paint and tactics. Look it up.

Where am I going with this rant?

If anyone thinks that Dear Leader won’t hesitate to sign executive orders and/or kick it to one of his 60 some odd czars or one his many liberal activists masquerading as judges to revoke citizenship for “dissenters and dissidents and undesirables” then I have some beautiful beach front property I’d love to sell you. On Mars.

If he can sign an executive order to kill Americans overseas then it’s a cakewalk to go ahead and sign another executive order revoking undesirable’s citizenships here to get around certain technicalities and for the sake of expediency. Besides, who’s going to know about it? It’s not like the fourth branch of government, this media, would report it anyways. Want easy proof? Look up ACTA. While some of you were all giddy that “Yeah, we defeated SOPA/PIPA”…which btw will be back soon under a different name and spread out over several bills…Dear Leader pulled a big fast one last September by quietly signing us into ACTA. Read up! Ever even heard of ACTA before reading this? I rest my case.

Whew, what a long winded crazy rant right? I’m sure I’m all worked up over nothing. None of this could EVER happen in the good ole USA, right?

If you haven’t had your head completely in the sand for the last ten years and simply followed concepts like the Patriot Act and what Homeland Security and FEMA are really able and allowed to do UNDER LAW then you need to get educated fast.

This can’t ever happen in the good ole USA, right? You been paying attention the last decade or so, folks? And especially the last four? Wow.

And Dear Leader will still get “re-elected” by at least 4 or 5 percentage points in November if those numbers are even to believed. Unbelievable. GoBama!

Not that  I think Romney would be appreciably better, mind you. Maybe just a little bit slower on some of this stuff.

Nations get the governments they deserve. Ultimately the governments reflect the populous.

If the USA is so far gone as it has been to elect the kinds of people we see in this government that get virtual life seats…and I can name people on both sides of the aisle for this… We get what we deserve.

Hope and change! Yes we can!

Yes we did and all the people that believed that nonsense are going to get enjoy it along with the rest of us. We have only ourselves to blame for getting to this point and it simply doesn’t seem like enough people know or care.
God help us all.

No One But Paul!

Yesterday, on the surface, seemed like a bad day for supporters of Ron Paul. I admit I was quite disappointed when Mitt Romney was announced as the “winner” of the Maine caucuses, simply because everything I had read and heard the past couple of days, and especially yesterday, pointed to a Paul victory.

As I said in my Maine post the other day, the straw poll is meaningless. The delegates are what matters, and there’s every reason in the world to assume Dr. Paul is poised to pick up the majority of the Maine delegates. In fact, it’s possible that he could have won the straw poll had last minute shenanigans not ensued, such as caucuses being added on Friday in pro-Romney areas and the entire Washington county caucus being postponed until next week due to a dusting of snow. Washington county is believed, by the Paul campaign, to be a Ron Paul stronghold and would have had over 200 votes… Paul only lost the straw poll by 194. The results of the delayed Washington county of course won’t be added, so even if Ron wins, the media will still portray it as a loss. Typical.

There’s every reason for Paul supporters to be excited though. It’s looking extremely likely that Paul will ultimately win (or close second), as far as delegates go (the most important thing) the states of Iowa, Colorado, Minnesota, Missouri, Maine, and Nevada (even though Nevada has bound delegates, which won’t matter past the first round of the national convention… and this thing is going to a brokered convention).

To my fellow Paul supporters, and to true conservatives still searching for a non-Romney candidate, now is the time to get energized and continue the revolution that has grown so much over the past four years. Paul has winnable states coming up; Washington, Alaska, Idaho, North Dakota, and possibly the Virgina primary. The campaign needs money, and their strategy is working. There’s not a dimes worth of difference between the other three candidates and President Obama… Dr. Paul is the only one who stands for real change and the American people, and the only one who is opposed to the establishment and their status quo.

On February 14th, the grassroots is holding another moneybomb for the Ron Paul campaign. Pledge today and donate on Tuesday to the No One But Paul moneybomb. Send a message to the GOP establishment and the media that Paul’s supporters are as energized and determined as ever, and no matter how hard they try they will not stop an idea (or a candidate) whose time has come.

Below is a message from John Tate, Ron Paul’s campaign manager: Continue reading

Come On Maine, For Liberty!

The Maine caucuses have been taken place across the state since late January, and will continue through early March, but tomorrow the Maine GOP will announce the results of the state’s straw poll. This straw poll, while it awards no delegates, is what the media will be reporting on tomorrow evening.

Mitt Romney won Maine in 2008 with about 52% of the vote. He’s predicted to win the state again in the results tomorrow, though the safe bet is that he won’t win with over 50% this time. Romney is desperate for a winning after losing in Colorado, Minnesota, and Missouri on Tuesday… especially Colorado which was thought to be Romney state, and Minnesota where he finished third.

Romney was coming off a huge victory in Florida and then in Nevada, but he’s never been weaker than he is at this moment. Maine was largely being ignored by all the candidates except for Ron Paul (all though Romney has had his people there and has been involved with essentially campaigning there for parts of the past three years. After losing three straight, Romney has flown to Maine and will speak tonight and he’ll speak at two caucus sites tomorrow morning.

Why the desperation for Romney in a state he’s been quite favored to win?

Because Ron Paul has been campaigning in the state (he was there when others were enjoying the Florida weather), and has drawn large crowds and created a ton of excitement. Even the media talking heads have to acknowledge that a Maine win is not guaranteed for Romney, who dominated the state last time. There’s a very strong possibility that Dr. Ron Paul could win the state of Maine, giving him his first win and Romney his fourth straight lost. Even if Paul doesn’t win the straw poll, it’s more than likely that his knowledge and enthusiastic supporters will win the delegate battle in the state, which is the most important thing.

Mitt Romney is not a conservative. For that matter, neither is Newt Gingrich or Rick Santorum. The only thing those three individuals wish to conserve is the big government status quo, which means more debt, more erosion of liberty, more government, more welfare, and more war. Ron Paul is the only true conservative in the race, and Maine could be the state to give him his first victory and momentum heading into Washington (another state Paul could possibly win) before Super Tuesday.

Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich aren’t even on the ballot in several states. It’s not too late for conservatives, real conservatives, to rally behind the 2012 Barry Goldwater or Ronald Reagan, Ron Paul, and defeat the establishment liberal from Massachusetts who would get slaughtered in a general election. Maine has a chance tomorrow to shock the world and give fire to the Ron Paul Revolution, while hurting the chances of the liberal Mitt Romney. So you Ron Paul supporters in Maine who has a caucus tomorrow morning, get out there and vote tomorrow, and bring your unregistered and Independent friends and family with you (they can register at the caucus) and vote for Dr. Paul. Give the good doctor a victory, and show the rest of the nation how it’s done. Show the way for Washington and the Super Tuesday states Alaska, Idaho, North Dakota, Vermont, and Virgina, and the states that follow afterwards.

And speaking of Ronald Reagan, there’s only one candidate running for president who was ever endorsed by Ronald Reagan, and that’s Dr. Ron Paul:

Ron Paul is one of the outstanding leaders fighting for a stronger national defense. As a former Air Force officer, he knows well the needs of our armed forces, and he always puts them first. We need to keep him fighting for our country. – Ronald Reagan

The Ron Paul Story:

“I Like George Washington Except on Foreign Policy”

This excellent piece was written by Jack Hunter on the Paulitical Ticker at RonPaul2012.com:

Ron Paul’s philosophy is that of the Founding Fathers. For Paul, the Constitution is the law of the land, not a mere rhetorical tool. For Paul, maintaining limited government means “eternal vigilance,” to borrow Thomas Jefferson’s phrase, against political leaders’ tendency to empower themselves at the expense of the people. One of the ways government has historically empowered itself is through constant war.

Like the Founding Fathers, Ron Paul believes in a strong national defense. Also like the Founders, Paul fears adopting an irrational offense. Our first President George Washington expressed this fear on September 17, 1796 when he delivered his farewell address. Washington said America should: Continue reading

Even At “Record” Highs, Gasoline Is Still A Bargain

Gas prices have been in the news again here recently, see here (record highs) and here ($4 gas coming this year). Currently, the average price for a gallon of gasoline is $3.39. That seems high, and certainly isn’t fun to pay, but when things are put into perspective you see that gasoline is really quite a bargain and really hasn’t gone up much at all (or any).

Let’s look back at 1964 for a moment. Gasoline was at 27 cents per gallon! Ah, the good old days. Imagine that, you could buy a gallon of gasoline for a measly three dimes.

The average hourly wage for workers in the private sector was $2.53 in 1964. The average hourly wage for workers in the private sector in 2011 was a little over $19. That 27 cents per gallon when adjusted for inflation at 2011 levels would have been $1.96 per gallon.

It’s not that oil companies are evil and just trying to rip everyone off, there is an awful lot that goes into gasoline. There’s the act of getting the oil out of the ground, shipping it, refining it into several different formulas, shipping it out to the gas stations, safety devices on the pumps, built in taxes, and the gas station owners who need to make a profit as well. All things considered, gasoline prices have been remarkably consistent and a quite honestly a bargain (even if its hard for the majority to recognize it).

In 1964, dimes contained 90% silver and weighed 2.5 grams. Silver is currently at $33.40 an ounce. Do the conversion and you’ll see that the dime of 1964 contains $2.42 worth of silver. Whereas in 1964 you could have paid three silver dimes for a gallon of gasoline, today those same three dimes would buy $7.26 worth of gasoline, or just over two gallons using the $3.39 average ($6.78). Those three dimes have gone from buying one gallon to buying two gallons. In terms of real, sound money, gasoline is cheaper today than it was 47 years ago. It has “risen” in terms of phoney paper notes that we call “money” today… but so has everything else that matters.

ABC / WMUR GOP New Hampshire Debate Tonight on ABC

Just ahead of Tuesday’s New Hampshire primary, ABC is broadcasting the first debate in weeks tonight at 8pm CST.

The debate, scheduled for two hours, will be moderated by ABC News’ Diane Sawyer and George Stephanopoulos and WMUR anchor Josh McElveen.

Participating in the debate are front runners Mitt Romney and Ron Paul, as well as Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum, Rick Perry, and Jon Hunstman.

It’ll be interesting to see how much time Dr. Paul gets after his strong third place finish in Iowa and considering he’s polling second in New Hampshire. History leads one to believe that he probably won’t get much time, however tonight could be pivotal for him as Newt Gingrich has already stated he plans on calling out Dr. Paul for his “dangerous” foreign policy (also known as the foreign policy endorsed by many military and intelligence people), and one should expect Rick “I’ll bomb Iran” Santorum to also go after Paul.

Of course Dr. Paul is at his best when he’s on the defense in these debates and able to educate the ignorant warmongers, so for that reason alone tonight’s debate is one you should definitely be watching.

Head back here immediately after the debate for our post-debate poll and let us know who you think won the debate.

The Compassion of Dr. Ron Paul

As the Iowa Caucuses draws near, the main stream media successfully managed to make at least a few people think Ron Paul might be a racist due to their biased reporting of 20-year-old newsletters that Ron Paul didn’t write. Idiots, mostly liberals, attacked both Kelly Clarkson and Michelle Branch the other night on Twitter after the two pop stars declared their support for Paul. The two ladies were told to “do their research” and that they were supporting “a racist and a homophobe.” Nothing can be further from the truth, as there just isn’t a hateful bone in Dr. Paul’s body.

Nevertheless, the “Super-PAC” supporting Ron Paul, RevolutionPAC, put together a fantastic ad titled “The Compassion of Dr. Ron Paul.” View the ad below and then go to the RevolutionPAC website and donate to get a version of the ad broadcast on television.

Line Up For Tonight’s FOX News/Google Republican Debate

Are you ready for the third Republican debate this month? If so, tune in to FOX News tonight at 8pm CST to watch NINE potential nominees take to the stage to “debate.” That’s one more than has been appearing in these debates, as Gov. Gary Johnson once again makes an appearance. The full line-up is listed below, and Ron Paul’s new ad is shown above:

Michele Bachmann
Herman Cain
Newt Gingrich
Jon Huntsman
Ron Paul
Gary Johnson
Mitt Romney
Rick Santorum
Rick Perry

This debate will feature questions submitted by the people via YouTube. Despite that fact, expect to see Romney and Perry get the bulk of the talking time, and don’t be surprised to see Jon Huntsman, Rick Santorum, and Gary Johnson all get more speaking time than Dr. Paul.

As always, check back with The Vortex Effect immediately following tonight’s debate to vote in our poll and let the world know who YOU think won debate.

POLL: Who Do You Think Won Tonight’s NBC News-Politico Republican Debate?

The NBC News/Politico Republican debate from the Reagan Library just concluded on MSNBC. Eight GOP hopefuls took to the stage. Now we want to know, who do YOU think won the debate tonight? Vote in our poll below, and share your opinion in the comments as well.

Line-up For Tonight’s NBC News-Politico GOP Presidential Debate From Reagan Library

[UPDATE] The debate is over. If you watched it, be sure and vote in our poll here and let us know who you think won it.

Tonight on MSNBC is the NBC News-Politico Republican debate emanating from the Reagan Library. The debate will mark Texas Governor Rick Perry’s first debate appearance.

The full lineup for tonight’s debate is:

Rep. Ron Paul
Gov. Rick Perry
Gov. Mitt Romney
Rep. Michele Bachmann
Rep. Newt Gingrich
Sen. Rick Santorum
Gov. Jon Huntsman
Herman Cain

I really wish everyone listed after Mitt Romney would just go ahead and drop out so these debates might actually mean something. Very few people want to see Santorum, Gingrich, Cain, and especially Huntsman take up time at these debates. Of course Perry and Romney will get the majority of the questions and thus the most speaking time (of which they’ll say absolutely nothing of substance).

As always, check back here immediately following the debate and vote in our “Who Do You Think Won Tonight’s NBC News-Politico Republican Debate?” poll.

The debate airs tonight at 7pm CST on MSNBC.

Ron Paul Is The One

His ads this time are so much better than last time. Of course I liked “He’s catching on, I’m tellin’ ya” as much as the next guy, but his ads this time are serious stuff that just keeps getting better and better. Thumbs up to his campaign team this time around.
