Quick Daily Review #44: The Book of Eli (2010)

The Book of Eli (2010)

Director: Allen Hughes

Eli has been on a very long walk. A thirty year long treck across America in fact. If he had only run like Forest Gump did, he could have considerably cut the time of his journey, but we’re not supposed to think about that. Eli has with him a book that he must protect, and that he will protect at all costs. To reveal said book would be a massive spoiler, except to say in this future scenario the vast majority of the remaining population cannot read. I must admit this may not be a movie for everyone right up front, but this is another one of those flicks that is right up my alley. You have a strong leading badass in Denzel (Man on Fire, The Equalizer etc) Washington starring in a post apocalyptic neo-western road movie with tons of twists, turns, (that do not all make sense, but nothing that was a deal breaker for my tastes) and assorted action movie tricks. This is by no means a movie that can be taken seriously, but it certainly can be taken with a giant tub of popcorn. It’s kind of like if you took Cormac McCarthy’s “The Road” and decided to make it a fun mindless shoot em’ up instead of an absorbing serious drama/sociological statement.

Crypto currency trading is becoming the most preferred type of investments due to easy access to the trading market online and the availability of various tools that facilitate profitable trading in these virtual currencies. Bitcoin Trader is one such online trading software that provides ample opportunities of profitable trade to both new investors and skilled ones. The website is free and does not involve any fee or commission. The funding from the investor is directly used to invest in the trades.

The system that runs on complex algorithms and superior technology guarantees good returns to the users even if they are new to the crypto market. This is possible because of the auto-pilot functionalities. Look at here now to find the easiest way to unprecedented financial prosperity.

Aside from Denzel laying fools out with Road Warrior style, you also get the lovely Mila Kunis as the token damsel in distress, and great leathery faced character actors such as Gary Oldman and Tom Waits as villains who both feel right at home in either Armageddon or the Wild West as required. Like I said, this movie isn’t for everyone, but it’s one that I am happy I decided to waste a few hours with.

As its coach, you are expected to boost the team members’ morale and bring them back to former glory from their current disgraceful state. This mode also consists of several scripted events that are meant to be one-time only, for example, crashing of helicopters by goblins in the middle of the field. The player is expected to continue playing during the occurrences of such events.
  2. Stadium Customization – The player’s goal is to expand the five in-built stadiums, namely the Human, Dwarf, Orc, Skaven, and Dark Elf by growing the respective teams through ten add-on features and four tiers for a maximum of 20 unique stadiums.
  3. Cabalvision – Here the player is to come with witty yet engaging commentary.
  4. Player Marketplace – The players here are expected to recruit more players to battle it out in the fields.

  10. Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker (Wii U) – This is obviously one of the best games for all the treasure hunters.

Smith’s Sentiment: Only one of these that I’m interested in eventually picking up is Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker. It looks really good, and it’s about time Toad gets some love. I played enough of The Crew beta to know that isn’t something I’d want to spend money on, unfortunately. What games, if any, are you planning on picking up this week? Ubisoft Issues Laughable Response on Assassin’s Creed Unity’s Resolution

Assassin's Creed Unity

Ubisoft, you should have just stayed quite. Stop saying things unless you’re going to be honest.

Sr. Communications Manager Gary Steinman took to the Ubisoft blog today to try and address the recent controversy regarding Assassin’s Creed Unity, its resolution, and parity concerns. You can read the whole thing here.

Let’s be clear up front: Ubisoft does not constrain its games. We would not limit a game’s resolution. And we would never do anything to intentionally diminish anything we’ve produced or developed.

Let’s be clear up front: All other things identical, there’s no way the PS4 version should be 900p if the Xbox One version is 900p. That it is shows that they aren’t taking full advantage of the more powerful system, which would mean they are intentionally diminishing a version. The supposed CPU bottleneck can explain the 30fps, but not the 900p resolution for both systems. The PS4 has a more powerful GPU. Also, as for constraining games, Watch Dogs PC says hi.

Which, of course, brings us to Assassin’s Creed Unity. The game has been in the media lately, and not just for a recent round of hands-on previews and features. One outlet ran a story using some quotes from Senior Producer Vincent Pontbriand to suggest we lowered the resolution on the PlayStation 4.

“Absolutely not,” Pontbriand says. “We’ve spent four years building the best game we could imagine. Why would we ever do anything to hold it back?” Pontbriand goes on to say that he understands why someone might think that’s the case based on a recent interview, adding “I simply chose the wrong words when talking about the game’s resolution, and for that I’m sorry.”

It’s kind of hard to believe that bolded part; one doesn’t simply misspeak to that degree.

“We decided to lock them at the same specs to avoid all the debates and stuff.”

That’s pretty clear. That’s not using the wrong words, that’s telling a half truth when you weren’t suppose to.

Which, of course, had some gamers wondering: If this is a truly new-gen game, why not deliver it in full 1080p on both consoles?

Few gamers were wondering that. After all 900p or below is fairly common for multiplatform games on Xbox One. The more pressing concern is why is not 1080p on PS4, the more powerful system with only a few games below 1080p? There’s only one other game on PS4 that is 900p that is also 900p on Xbox One, and that’s EA Sports UFC. Here’s a list of multiplatform titles and how they break down resolution wise:

GAME PS4 XBOX ONE
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag 1080p (patch) 900p
Battlefield 4 900p 720p
Call of Duty: Ghosts 1080p 900p
The Golf Club 1080p 720p
Lords of the Fallen 1080p 900p
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes 1080p 720p
Metro Redux 1080p 912p
Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor 1080p 900p
Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 1080p 900p
Thief 1080p 900p
Trials Fusion 1080p 900p
Watch Dogs 900p  792p

The answer is both simple and complex. Assassin’s Creed Unity is pushing the new-gen systems more than any other Ubisoft game has ever done. A quick look at the visuals – the city itself, the crowds, Arno in motion – will show how beautiful and how “next-gen” the game truly is.

And yet, if the two are identical, you clearly aren’t pushing the PS4 far enough. There’s a reason why, in every example above, that the PS4 version has the higher resolution… because it is the more powerful system, with a much better GPU.

The more complex answer? A game’s final resolution isn’t set until late in the development cycle. This is notable because the team has dedicated much of the past few months to optimizing Unity to reach 900p with a consistent 30 frames per second. Considering the sheer number of pixels that are being moved around at all times – which affects both the CPU and GPU – that’s a significant achievement, especially as Assassin’s Creed Unity will release when the new-gen consoles are barely more than a year old. (As with all hardware, it becomes easier to optimize with more experience and software/middleware solutions that only come with time.)

To be a “complex answer,” this says absolutely nothing. Great, you have it running at 900p and a solid 30fps on Xbox One… why is the PS4 version also 900p?

As of now, Assassin’s Creed Unity is locked at 900p. But why “stop” there? “We know a lot of gamers consider 1080p with 60 frames per second to be the gold standard, especially on the new generation of consoles,” Pontbriand says. “We realize we had also pushed for 1080p in some of our previous games, including AC4. But we made the right decision to focus our resources on delivering the best gameplay experience, and resolution is just one factor. There is a real cost to all those NPCs, to all the details in the city, to all the systems working together, and to the seamless co-op gameplay. We wanted to be absolutely uncompromising when it comes to the overall gameplay experience. Those additional pixels could only come at a cost to the gameplay.”

Complete and utter nonsense. Ubisoft must think we’re all stupid. PC gamers expect more options (much higher framerates, games that look better than consoles even if the modders have to do the work) because the PC’s can be much more powerful. At the same time, the simple fact is that the PS4 IS more powerful than Xbox One. An identical version shouldn’t happen unless they’re deliberately holding back the PS4 version, which Pontbriand’s original statement said clearly.

Ubisoft, if you want to continue talking about it, just come out and admit that Microsoft paid for parity. If that’s not the case, then address the reason why the two versions are apparently going to be identical even though one system is more powerful than the other. Because they shouldn’t be.

Bitcoin Code is one of the powerful and efficient online tools to trade in crypto currencies. It has proven to generate significant returns for the investors. The creator himself is the best testimony to it. He claims to have become a millionaire by using this trading solution. Find here more testimonies and positive feedbacks to support the fact that this website is legit and authentic.

Regardless of whatever CPU bottleneck you have, if you can get the Xbox One version running at 900p then there is no reason why the PS4 version shouldn’t be running at 1080p. The only thing that makes sense is that Microsoft gave you money so that there would be parity.

You wasted your time writing up a response that doesn’t actually say anything or answer any questions.

vnnDqIg

Yeah, Retweet it Phil. Money not well spent. Parity or not, marketing deal or not, it’s still going to sell more on PS4.

Between this “response” and the earlier quotes trying to tell gamers that 30fps feels better and is more “realistic,” it’s clear that Ubisoft thinks their potential consumers are complete idiots.

Review: The Golf Club

The Golf Club

The Golf Club (PC, PS4, Xbox One)
Developer: HB Studios
Publisher: HB Studios
Genre(s): Golf, Sports
Released: August 19, 2014 (PC, XOne), August 26th (PS4)
ESRB Rating: E – Everyone

Since there have been gaming consoles, there have been golf games for those consoles. While I don’t ever watch golf on TV, I do enjoy playing it (for real on occasions, though it’s been a while since I’ve done it) and on consoles. We’re nearing the one year anniversary of the release of PS4 and Xbox One, and thanks to HB Studios we finally have a golf game to play on the new systems. Thankfully, it’s also a good golf game.

The Golf Club doesn’t feature any real golf courses or players, nor does it have a ton of customization options. But that’s okay because The Golf Club is more focused on the game of golf than the bells and whistles that accompany EA’s PGA series. To that end, the game can cause more frustration than fans of golf games are accustomed to. Most golf games have given players a meter; one for power and another for accuracy. The Golf Club doesn’t give you a meter of any time.

The crypto currency trading has opened up many new opportunities for the investors interested in making money online. Trading with the robots has made the task easier and profitable. Bitcoin code created Steve McKay has provided equal access to the financial markets irrespective of their knowledge or experience in the crypto currency market. Hop over to these guys to gain access to endless opportunities to financial independence.

the-golf-club-desert-06_1600

You swing with the right stick. Your power will depend on how far back and how fast you push the stick back up, with accuracy depending on whether or not you push the stick straight back up or go off to either side. You know how far you are from the flag, and how far your club can hit the ball, plus the wind speed and direction, so you can estimate how much power you need to put into a shot. Actually pulling off hitting the power that you want can be tricky, but with practice you’ll get the hang of it more. Would it have been nice to have the option of having a meter and just using X swing by stopping it in the right spot? It absolutely would have, but as is the controls would nice with practice. Putting will take the longest to really get the hang of.

The game features local multiplayer, but for online the multiplayer is asynchronous. You can play against the ghost balls of friends and rivals, or you can play “live” against another player. The beauty of the multiplayer though is that even if you’re playing live with friends online, you can drop out and when you come back later you can pick up right where you left off. You’ll be playing against your friends ghost balls then.  Playing 18 holes with four people taking turns can take a while, so seeing live and ghost balls allows friends to play together without it requiring a time commitment.

For me, and I suspect a lot of other folks, the big thing is the games course creator. The Golf Club has an extensive and easy to use course creator with the ability to edit every facet of your course and easily publish it. So while The Golf Club doesn’t feature real courses, there’s nothing stopping folks good with the creator skills from making their own versions. For that matter, there’s always a new course to play on (and favorite if you enjoyed it) and you always have the option to make your own course (which randomly generates and then you’re free to edit as much as you want).

I’ve never been really good at creating stuff using creation tools in video games. To their credit, HB Studios has made it really easy for anyone to create their own course because everything is so easy to understand (it also doesn’t hurt that you’re not starting from a blank canvas).

The Golf Club is currently the only golf game available on the new systems, so if you own a PS4 or Xbox One and you have an itch for golf, The Golf Club is your only option until Spring 2015 when EA Sports drops their next PGA game. Luckily, The Golf Club is a really good golf game available for a decent price ($35), so if you enjoy golfing from the comfort of your own, definitely pick this up. It’s sub-par on customization at the moment, and while you can play a tournament there is no career mode, but it does the actual game of golf justice. With the extensive course creator, there’s more than enough content here to justify a purchase at the price.

First WWE 2K15 Screenshot Revealed by John Cena, Is Impressive

WWE 2K15

Current WWE Champion John Cena took to Twitter this morning to share a screenshot of his virtual self squaring of against rival Randy Orton in 2K’s upcoming WWE 2K15.

John Cena is a professional wrestler who started his carrer in wrestling in 1999 and currently resides at Tampa, Florida, USA. Apart from wrestling, Cena is a rapper, an actor, and a television host. Presently, Cena has offered to be a free agent in the current WWE series, where he will appear for both SmackDown and Raw brands. Cena was one of the greatest stars in the WWE series and became its franchise player. He was also WWE’s public face in the early 2000 and later in the year 2010.

Cena is also involved in many philanthropic causes including the Make-A-Wish Foundation, where Cena was able to grant more five hundred wishes, making him the highest wish-granter in the history of Make-A-Wish. Cena has won several championships and titles and is popularly known by a few nicknames such as “Big Match John”, “The Champ”, “The Cenation Leader”, “The Face of WWE”, “The Chain Gang Soldier”, “The Doctor of Thuganomics”, and “The Face That Runs the Place”.

Now, Cena is currently the face of an exciting new video game that is all about professional wrestling – the WWE 2K15. The game’s publisher is 2K Sports and it is published for PlayStation 3 and 4, including Microsoft Windows, Xbox One and 360. The game is a sequel to its previous version – the WWE 2K14 and is succeeded by the next version – the WWE 2K16. WWE 2K15 has an exclusive licensed soundtrack, which will be the first ever since the creation of “Smackdown vs. Raw 2010”. The game’s soundtrack is edited by John Cena himself and the album consists of four other songs in total where one is sung by Cena and another by Wiz Khalifa.

For more details about the game, just go to my blog.

You can see by the screen below that the game looks way more impressive and realistic thanks to Visual Concepts helping with development.

WWE 2K15 Screenshot

WWE 2K15 releases on October 28th for PS4, Xbox One, PS3, and Xbox 360.

Smith’s Sentiment: Kinda ironic that a bunch of WWE 2K15 stuff finally comes out on the day where we’re launching a new wrestling only site, but glad to finally starting seeing and hearing some details about 2K15. The screenshot looks really good, definitely much better than anything we’ve seen from Yuke’s before. The roster will be revealed during Summer Slam weekend, and I hope it includes more wrestlers than we usually get (and current and NXT ones at that).

Deadly Venom: Uber Entertainment Isn’t Doing Anything Wrong By Selling An Early Access Title in Stores

Planetary Annihilation

Once again someone has done something in the games industry that has other people going on and on about how horrible it is and how it’ll destroy the industry.

That someone is Uber Entertainment and Nordic Games and the something is Planetary Annihilation being sold in stores in a box as an Early Access title (at least in Europe).

Planetary Annihilation is a real time strategy game on the PC. In 2012, Uber Entertainment went on Kickstarter to try and get funding for their game (after all, most of the developers had worked on Total Annihilation and Supreme Commander, so they had a good track record).

Uber set their goal at $900,000 and pretty quickly met that goal, which then brought about the stretch goals. When it was all said and done, Uber had raised over $2.2 million for the development of the game… not bad at all.

Planetary Annihilation entered alpha on June 8, 2013 for “alpha-level backers,” and entered Early Access on Steam on June 13th. The game entered beta on September 26, 2013 and in November the beta opened up for all Kickstarter backers.

Today, the game still hasn’t officially released although it is no longer in beta and is instead in what Uber Entertainment is calling “gamma.” And now, in this gamma state, Planetary Annhiliation is being sold in box in retail stores with an Early Access label on the cover and a note that it includes a free upgrade to the final release.

planetaryannihilation_610

Naturally, a lot of folks have been almost up in arms over this with tons of hyperbole that this is the kind of the thing that is going to collapse the industry.

Forget out of control budgets, teams of thousands, pay2win micro-transactions, and absurd marketing spending, early access is the thing that is going to destroy the gaming industry as more and more publishers look to charge consumers to test their game.

Early access was already “a problem” on Steam, but now it’s spreading to retail stores and soon publishers will be doing the same on consoles. But the thing is, it isn’t that big of a deal and it most certainly will not destroy the gaming industry.

In the case of Planetary Annihilation, the folks who Kickstarted the game have already been playing it since November 2013 thanks to their investing in the game. Others have been able to purchase the game, via Early Access, on Steam and now in stores.

What the hell is gamma though? When games come out of beta, some things get changed and polished based on beta feedback (real beta feedback, not glorified demos that we see on consoles most of the time), and then the game releases.

Gamma is something that Uber has apparently made up, which brings up the question of when is a game truly finished these days? If the game is in a good enough state to be out of beta, and where most games would be in full release, why not just say its released and continue working on the game like most other developers?

It seems like Uber Entertainment is committed to making Planetary Annihilation be the best they can make it, and so they’ve arbitrarily delayed the games official release with this “gamma” phase and are continuing to sell the game as early access over a year after it originally launched in early access. The only difference is that now it’s being sold in stores.

I don’t see how this is a problem, or why Uber Entertainment should be blasted for having the audacity to do things a different way.

As is, most games aren’t finished when they release these days. If they were, they wouldn’t need day one patches that are several GB’s in size or patches fixing things for weeks or months after release. Of course a lot of this has to do with certification process, which can take a while, and so I don’t know why many gamers expect developers to sit around twiddling their thumbs for the month or more the process takes.

Traders in forex and CFD investments need not wait for a long time to know the outcomes of the trades they have entered into. This has attracted many people to this sector. Top 10 binary demo is a very useful website providing free access to a lot of informative articles on trading and other financial aspects. Read full article on forex trading on the website to understand the various nuances of this type of trading.

And that’s not a new phenomenon either, the only thing is now patches can be issued and games fixed after release. What about all the Atari/NES/SEGA and up games that released prior to the days of patches that featured game breaking bugs and gltiches? You had no way to get those issues fixed and the games costs around the same as they do now (actually more when factoring in inflation). One could say you paid to beta (or alpha in some cases) test those games only you never got a full fixed version.

When asked why they’re doing this by Game Informer, this was Jon Mavor’s, one of the game’s directors, response:

“At Uber we’ve been trying really hard to innovate on business models during the entire development of [Planetary Annihilation]… We had planned to do a retail release all along and the early access box came about as part of our experimental attitude. Since early access works so well, our partners at Nordic thought that it would be worth trying an early access retail edition and we agreed it was a cool idea.”

Not satisfied with the answer, Game Informer asked “why release an unfinished game at retail?” Mavor responded with:

“The real question is, why not? After all, they are getting the same game, just earlier. It’s a changing world and we hope to continue trying out new and innovative ways to make games.”

The why not of course angered the group of gamers who think this kind of model is going to harm the industry. You can read this thread on NeoGAF to see many gamers talking like this is just a horrible thing and a lot of “collapse the industry” stuff.

Here, NeoGAF member Azure Dream quotes Mavor’s “why not?” answer and follows it up with his comment on it: “The words that signaled the start of the next great video game crash.”

Absolute nonsense. The gaming crash of the early 1980s happened because there were a ton of consoles and a nonstop stream of bad games being released. That’s not going to happen again (maybe mobile, but those are typically free anyway).

The only way gaming crashes again is if the entire economy collapses, and that’d have everything to do with bad governments, entitlements, and worthless fiat currency being created “out of thin air” resulting in massive inflation… nothing to do with gaming.

Whether vocal minorities on the Internet like it or not, this kind of thing is going to happen more often. And it won’t just be early access sold in stores for PC games, but it’s going to be console games as well.

I don’t have a problem with that; in some cases I’d actually welcome it.

Now granted I would want to see early access games release first with a public alpha for a few days, or a beta before early access becomes available. That way you can get a taste of the game to see if you’d be happy buying it as early access versus waiting until it’s actually finished.

If Bungie and Activison would have responded to the overwhelming positive buzz to the Destiny alpha by releasing it (the alpha) as an early access title… I would have dropped $60 for it right then. Why? Because I thought the game was excellent in its alpha state and would have gladly continued playing just that little slice until the beta and then the full game.

They’re going to get my money regardless, so I’d just as soon rather start playing the game now rather than wait months for something I already know I’m going to get day one. The same goes for Assassin’s Creed, WWE, anything Naughty Dog puts out, and others.

Of course there is obviously the prospect of developers/publishers releasing games as early access in horrible states to try and secure additional funding from consumers. It already happens on PC; I doubt it’ll be as bad on consoles since Sony and Microsoft have more stringent policies. In any case, the market for early access titles would work itself out fairly quickly and then ones who push something out that isn’t playable will likely not find too much success with that model.

Frankly, after seeing games like Battlefield 4 and plenty of others release in broken states, to many degrees, I think having the hardcore fans who are going to buy the games anyway get to pay to beta test would prove more fruitful than focus groups and laughable QA testing by folks who don’t care or don’t know the franchise like the hardcore players do.

I know someone will pull that “pay to beta test” comment out and try and get on a high horse about how betas should be free (or get paid for) and not something you pay to test… but we’re talking about folks who are going to buy the games anyway; they wouldn’t be paying to simply beta test, they’d be paying to start playing a game they were already going to buy months early.

Uber Entertainment isn’t doing anything wrong by releasing an “early access” version of Planetary Annihilation in stores. They aren’t doing anything that is going to eventually cause a gaming crash or anything that is “anti-consumer.”

If you don’t want to buy an early access game, no one is making you. Wait for it to actually release in full. But don’t act like it’s some great travesty or an immoral cash grab when people who want to pay to play a game ahead of its release actually buys an early access title.

Smith’s Sentiment: Not much there, but that’s why it’s a teaser I guess. Ubisoft’s conference is one that I’m really looking forward to, not just because of The Division (although it certainly is a big reason), but also to see if they can continue their two year streak of wowing everyone with a new game announcement. Of course I’m also super interested in seeing Assassin’s Creed Unity, and I also have hopes for a new Prince of Persia as well although I doubt we’ll see that. The Division is actually one of my most anticipated known games, so I can’t wait to see another demo of it and I suspect it’ll also be shown off on either Microsoft’s or Sony’s conference as well (probably Sony’s).

E3 2014 Teaser for Tom Clancy’s The Division

Above is an E3 teaser for Ubisoft’s Tom Clancy’s The Division, due out in 2015 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

The teaser only shows a roughly five second timelapse of the city, but it looks very good. You’ll be able to see more of The Division at Ubisoft’s E3 press conference on Monday at 5pm CST.

Metro Redux Announced for PS4, Xbox One, & PC

Metro Redux

Deep Silver and developer’s 4A Games have announced that they’re bringing both Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light to current gen systems with a complete remastering collection called Metro Redux.

The remastered collection will be available this Summer for $49.99, and the remastered version of both titles will be available separately digitally for $24.99. Each game contains all of the DLC released for it. In addition to releasing on PS4 and Xbox One, Metro Redux will also release on PC as well.

Metro Redux will have a graphical overall to advantage of the new platforms, and a locked 60 frames per second. There’s also new gameplay features and content, so it’s a little more than a graphical upgrade. The following changes come from the press release issued by Deep Silver:

  • The original game has been rebuilt in the latest and greatest iteration of the 4A Engine, bringing all the graphical and gameplay improvements from Metro: Last Light to Metro 2033 Redux
  • Experience radically improved gameplay: advanced enemy AI, improved combat and stealth mechanics, superior weapon handling and more responsive, intuitive controls plus signature features from Last Light such as the atmospheric ‘mask wipe’ mechanic, weapon customization, and silent kills and takedowns
  • Enjoy completely re-mastered visuals: advanced lighting, dynamic weather, more detailed characters with improved animation, more dynamic destruction and improved smoke, fire and particle effects
  • Metro: Last Light Redux has also received a graphical facelift and gameplay improvements that carry across both titles, including new melee animations, and the fan-requested ‘Check Watch’ and ‘Check Inventory’ features. It also includes all previously released Season Pass add-on content – a further 10 hours of single-player gameplay
  • With Metro Redux, players now have the choice to experience both Metro games the way they want with the introduction of two unique ‘Play Styles.’Top 10 Binary demo is one of the best sites that provide free access to host of learning materials on forex trading and the use of trading robots in the field of investment trading. Those who favored the more survival horror oriented gameplay of Metro 2033 can play both campaigns in the ‘Survival’ Play Style, a fraught slow-burn fight for survival with limited resources, deadlier enemy AI, and slower reload speeds. Those who enjoyed the more action oriented gameplay of Metro: Last Light can try the ‘Spartan’ Play Style, providing Artyom with a powerful set of combat skills and more plentiful resources.

In addition, the legendary Ranger Mode returns to both games, providing the most immersive and challenging experience as the HUD is stripped away and hardcore rules apply.

Smith’s Sentiment: Great news here, and props to 4A Games for busting out that locked 60fps. At that price, this is quite the deal. I don’t want to see a trend of everyone releasing their previous gen games on the new systems, but there are some other games that I’d like to see get this treatment. This looks like a really great collection at a good price. Who’s planning on double dipping?
