Wolfenstein

We're a few days away from E3, so you know what that means... it's time for E3 trailers. Bethesda released the E3 trailer for Wolfenstein: The New Order this morning, and it looks pretty darn good. I say that as someone who has never been into the franchise. The New Order definitely has my attention though. Check out the trailer below. Wolfenstein: The New Order is scheduled to release later this year and it'll be coming to PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. … [Read more...]

Saints Row IV Gets Great “Super Dangerous Wub Wub” $99 Collector’s Edition

Saints-Row-4

Saints Row IV hits stores in August and looks absurdly awesome. If you've already pre-ordered the game, you might want to cancel and pre-order the new collector's edition announced today because it's pretty sweet and reasonably priced at $99 (kudos to Deep Silver there, some publishers would have tried charging $150 for it). The new collector's edition is called "The Super Dangerous Wub Wub Edition." Because you know, the game as a dubstep gun. So what does ths "Wub Wub" edition include for that $100? I'm not usually a fan of collector's editions, but this one is pretty sweet. The Dubstep gun replica has a laser and makes sounds, a doomsday button, and a memorial statue of Johnny Gat... that's pretty reasonable for $99. By the way, the statue is eight inches and the doomsday … [Read more...]

Game Review: Call of Juarez Gunslinger

call-of-juarez-gunslinger-feat

Call of Juarez: Gunslinger (PSN [Reviewed], XBLA, PC) Developer: Techland Publisher: Ubisoft Genre(s): Western, First Person Shooter Released: May 21, 2013 Price: $14.99 ESRB Rating: M – Mature   It’s a funny thing when a franchise can have three retail games available, the last of which is widely considered to be quite bad, and then have a fourth game be reduced down to a cheap digital only title. Now you may be asking “well what’s funny about that?” and the funny thing is the $15 downloadable title with almost no promotion whatsoever is easily the best game in the franchise. And it’s not even close. After the horrible decision to take Call of Juarez to the present day with “The Cartel,” Techland is back with another Call of Juarez game set in the … [Read more...]

Ubisoft Confirms Watch_Dogs & Assassin’s Creed IV for Xbox One

Ubisoft

From the "you don't say" department: Ubisoft has officially confirmed that both Watch_Dogs and Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag are coming to Xbox One. We needed this confirmation because "available on PlayStation 4 and other next-gen platforms" simply wasn't clear. Of course Ubisoft will get no lover from a Xbox press event, because they give exclusive content (mainly missions, and including both Assassin's Creed IV and Watch_Dogs) to PlayStation. Here's the tweet to officially confirm what we all already knew, because you know "official." https://twitter.com/Ubisoft/status/336903299917819905 Both games will be out this Fall for almost every platform available (PlayStation 3 & 4, PC, Wii U, Xbox 360 & One), because unlike some publishers (EA, Activision), Ubisoft … [Read more...]
