Final Card for Tonight’s WWE Night of Champions PPV


In just under an hour, WWE presents Night of Champions on WWE Network and pay-per-view. News came out yesterday that Roman Reigns had to undergo emergency surgery because of an incarcerated hernia, and he'll be out of action for several weeks. As a result, he will obviously not being wrestling Seth Rollins tonight. The full announced card for tonight's event is as follows: Brock Lesnar defends the WWE Championship against John Cena. The Miz challenges Dolph Ziggler for the Intercontinental Championship. Sheamus puts his United States Championship on the line against Cesaro. The Uso's defend the Tag Team Championship against the bizarre brothers Goldust and Stardust. Tonight's episode of WWE Main Event features a big time match up between Bray Wyatt and former WWE and World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus. No other matches have been announced for tonight's show. Main Event airs tonight at 7pm CT live on WWE Network. If you can't catch the show live, it'll of course become available for on demand viewing as soon as its original airing concludes. Smith's Sentiment: I'm interested in seeing what'll happen tonight. Obviously, WWE can't have Bray Wyatt losing going into his big steel cage match against John Cena this Sunday at Extreme Rules. At the same time, Sheamus doesn't get jobbed out often. Tonight on RAW, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan returns after missing last week's episode due to being on his honeymoon with Brie Bella. Last week, Stephanie McMahon awoke the "Devil's Favorite Demon," as Kane will once again don the mask and become the "monster." Kane has promised to eviscerate Daniel Bryan and send him to the depths of hell. Two matches are known for tonight's episode as the #1 Contender to the Intercontinental Championship tournament continues tonight with the semifinals. Rob Van Dam will take on the newest Paul Heyman Guy, Cesaro aka "the King of Swing." The other semifinal match will see Sheamus battle Bad News Barrett. WWE Main Event 4/1/14 Preview: Sheamus vs. Miz

It's WrestleMania Week in WWE, and that means that tonight's episode of Main Event was taped last night before RAW (along with Smackdown and Superstars) because the superstars are preparing to head to New Orleans for the WrestleMania festivities. Only two matches on tonight's show: Sheamus vs. The Miz Nikki Bella vs. Tamina Both Sheamus and Miz will be in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania XXX, while both Nikki and Tamina will be a part of the Vickie Guerrero Diva's Championship Invitational at WrestleMania. WWE RAW 2/17/14 Preview: Randy Orton vs. Sheamus

Tonight is the final RAW before the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view event this Sunday, and Randy Orton's gauntlet against his Elimination Chamber opponents comes to an end. After losing to Daniel Bryan, John Cena, and Cesaro, Orton gets a chance to rebound and build a little momentum heading into the PPV. Tonight, the Viper takes on the "Celtic Warrior" Sheamus. Last week, The Shield and the Wyatt Family almost came to blows before the Wyatt's backed down and left the ringside area. Will the two trio groups come to blows tonight before their anticipated six man tag match on Sunday?
