Platform: Wii U Publisher: Nintendo Developer: Nintendo Genre(s): Racing Released: May 30, 2014 ESRB Rating: E - Everyone Hello everyone and welcome back to the ramblings of a man with too many video games and not enough time to play them, The Backlog. We haven't done this in a while, my real life and day job have seen to that by (figuratively) kicking me in the nuts and (literally) slamming me into a tree (I'm fine, but my bank account would beg to differ). Capture and Play as Villians in Skylanders: Trap Team

Skylanders Trap Team

The ever popular world of Skylanders continues to expand this Fall with the release of the new entry Skylanders: Trap Team. This time around, developers Toys for Bob are expanding on their portal machine toys-to-life mechanic by reversing that processing. A special new portal, called Traptanium Portal, allows you to trap villains in the game and bring the digital characters to "life in the real world." Now of course it's one thing to take a toy, put it on a portal, and have it come to life in the video game. Obviously the reverse can't happen, but short of a hologram it seems like Toys for Bob has found a way to at least bring that illusion to life in a way that's going to be cool for kids. The portal has a built in speaker that will allow players to hear the voices of villains as they … [Read more...]

9 Minutes of Watch_Dogs Multiplayer Gameplay

Ubisoft has released a new nine minute gameplay walk-through showing off some of the multiplayer action in Watch_Dogs. You can view the video below. Of course the game does feature competitive multiplayer with teams against teams, and that's showed in the video as well. For that matter, you can even play against mobile users who are deploying cops and hacking the environment to try and take you out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SKwn4nK5J28 Watch_Dogs hits store shelves on May 27th for PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.
