Destiny Devils’ Lair Strike Gameplay Trailer + GameStop Pre-order Bonus

Destiny

The highly anticipated quasi-MMO, first person shooter RPG Destiny from Bungie got a new trailer today, which you can check out below. The trailer shows off some gameplay from a cooperative Strike mission called Devils’ Lair Strike.

Destiny releases on September 9th for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.

Some new pre-order goodies have been announced as well, assuming of course you want to pre-order at GameStop and are a Power Up Rewards member. If you are, you can pre-order and get the GameStop exclusive “Upgraded Sparrow,” which is described as:

An in-game, customized, red-colored personal-transport features an upgraded boost, faster speed, and higher durability than the standard Sparrow.

Upgraded Sparrow Destiny

Smith’s Sentiment: I’ll pre-order from Amazon, thank you very much. I am super pumped for this game. I have yet to see or hear anything that was off-putting to me regarding this game, in fact every time I see or read something new it just makes me want it that much more. I’m very much looking forward to the beta. Anyone else excited for this and are planning on getting it for a PlayStation system?

  1. No PC version? I’m surprised. MMOs on PC are usually a given. I’m not a big MMO person but I’m keeping an eye on this.

    • Not really an MMO. MMO like elements; it’s a “shared-world-shooter.” No PC release at launch or this year, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see one down the road. I plan on getting this day one for PS3, unless I get a PS4 between now and September, in which case I’d switch it over.

Seems like a game that’d be great to play with you Eric.
