15 Minutes of Game: Thief

Time for another installment of 15 Minutes of Game and this time around we’re looking at a playthrough of the “Lockdown” chapter of Thief on PS4. This is the demo that was added to the PlayStation Store in yesterday’s update (and I can only assume the same demo that was available at launch and then removed without notice soon after).

In this game of first person stealth, I failed. Not only did I get the predator label for knocking out guys (at least I didn’t kill anyone), but I also got spotted. And the reason I got spotted was because I hit the square button and peaked around a close door when I was actually trying to close the open door. That couple of seconds prevented me from getting to the jewelry case and sneaking up on that guard. That was totally my screw up, but oh well.

Eric reviewed the PC version of the game back when it came out and scored it a 3.5 meaning good.

  1. Give this thing a chance. Be patient. What it does well it does REALLY well. Since I reviewed the game they have thrown a couple of patches and some DLC at it. If you get into this game I can guarantee you will enjoy it.
