This time on 15 Minutes of Game we check out the puzzle indie title from Curve Studios and Crunching Koalas, MouseCraft.
In case you can’t tell from the video, MouseCraft is a 2D puzzle game that is like Lemmings in that you have to guide three mice to the cheese keeping them safe from death from the numerous traps and enemies around.
This is a game that really wasn’t on my radar until reading Eric’s review of it over at The Warning Sign. He gave it a good score and it seemed like the kind of thing I’d dig since I like puzzle games, and so here we are doing this video feature.
Now it should be noted that by the time I recorded this I had already beat all 80 levels perfectly and gotten 100% of trophies, so when you see me messing up on the easy beginning puzzles, know that I’m doing so on purpose (to see a mouse die, to showcase the undo or time function, etc.)
My full review of the game is coming up a little bit later today, but suffice to say I really enjoyed it. It’s also a cross-buy and cross-save title, so regardless of which PlayStation system you buy it for, you’ll have it for PS4, PS3, and PS Vita.
Until next time (likely Destiny Beta) this has been 15 Minutes of Game.
