Destiny Servers Currently Down for Some PS4/PS3 Players

Destiny

If you’re trying to login to Destiny on either PS4 or PS3, you may be getting an error message or a message saying you’ve lost connection to Destiny servers. Bungie is aware of the issue and are working on it.

We are actively investigating issues impacting players’ ability to sign in to Destiny on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. Until resolved, players may experience disconnects or be unable to sign in.

Yep, this is currently affecting me (I actually got disconnected while playing and have been unable to sign back in). So it’s currently down for many, but not all. They’re working on it, so hang tight. In the meantime, you go check out our feature this morning about the Game Modes and Events We Want to See Come to Destiny.

  1. The motto is you pay you play, obviously not in the eyes of Sony and bungie!!!

    • Yep. I don’t know what Sony’s problem is, but they definitely need to get their network fixed. People are paying to play now, and yet they’ve had a ton of issues as of late.

I’m still getting disconnected and I have a great internet connection and have my own modem

  3. I think they should start charging people to play, when they can actually play the game without ant problems. True or false ?

    • False. I don’t think most folks would pay a fee to play this, myself included (and I love the game). Already have to pay for online now on PS4, and Sony still hasn’t fixed their network.
