It’s Friday, and that means Xur has arrived back in the Tower to peddle some exotic wares. I hope you (my fellow American’s anyway) had a great Thanksgiving yesterday. Sorry for not getting one of these posted for yesterday. We’re not going to waste any time today, so let’s get to it.
Xur’s exotics are up now, the daily bounties directly below it.
||Titan Chest – For This, There Is One Remedy||13 SC|
| Crest of Alpha Lupi
||Hunter Chest – You’ve heard every last tale of the wolf by now. None of them are true. You are the wolf.||13 SC|
||Warlock Chest – “YOU WILL DREAM OF TEETH AND NOTHING ELSE” – scratched behind a buckle||13 SC|
||Fusion Rifle – Good fighters have contingency plans. Great fighters don’t need them.||17 SC|
|Exotic Engram||Gauntlet Exotic Engram – Random exotic gauntlets for a random class.||23 MoL|
Xur can be found in the down the stairs straight ahead, right beside the Crucible Quartermaster. I went in not really caring what he brought, and as luck would have it he brought one of the exotic weapons that I don’t have. So needless to say, I grabbed Plan C.

You’re going to want to avoid getting close to enemies here. I’d recommend sprinting past the first area where the Hive and the Fallen are fighting and jump over enemies if need be, if you want to get through it as quickly as possible. It’s just not necessary fight that battle. But you have to be quick and good jump
Once through there though, you’ll come to an area where you’ll have to kill a Fallen Baron. He’s not really that difficult, but hit him and fast and hard with the most powerful stuff you’ve got (ideally doing arc damage to get his shield down quickly). He will teleport and hide if you take your time, and you don’t want that shield to be continuously getting put up. Don’t get too carried away on the Baron though, as there are stealth vandals here that are just waiting to one shot you thanks to the Lightswitch modifier.
After defeating the Baron, unless you just need the experience or don’t think you’re fast enough, sprint and jump your way through the rest of the mission. There isn’t another battle after the Baron that absolutely needs to be fought, so why fight unless you need to? If you go the sprint route, you still need to be aware of where the enemies are and jumping over them. There will be Dreg’s and of course Thrall’s that could be a problem. There’s also some knights, a wizard, and an orge.
Once you get past the orge, have a super, rocket, or machine gun ready. As you start to enter a little tunnel like area, a group of Thrall’s will rush at you and they’ll have a Knight behind them. You can’t really afford to get hit by any of these, so you’ll want to take them out and do so quickly.
Past that area, you’re home free. Take out the acolytes, activate the console, and wait for the large knight to appear. Pull out your best sniper rifle and shoot him in the face until he falls. There will be additional trash around enemy, and you’ll want to keep an eye on them and take them out when necessary. Don’t let them sneak up on you and melee you from behind. Sardok isn’t much of a threat really, as you can easily dodge his attacks, so shoot him in the face until he dies. Shouldn’t take long.
That’s all for today Guardians. Remember, no Destiny Daily on the weekend, so I’ll see you again Monday morning. If you bought anything from Xur today, let us know in the comments. If you have Plan C already, what do you think about it? I’m not the biggest fan of fusion rifles, but I’ve been wanting this one to have a good Arc fusion rifle and to complete the weapon collection. Look forward to trying it out. Later Guardians!
