Destiny Weekly 10/13 – 19/15: Iron Banner Returns, Eververse Trading Company Arrives, New Nightfall, & More!

Destiny Weekly

Today is kind of a big day in Destiny. The Iron Banner will return for the first time since patch 2.0 dropped, and today also sees the first footsteps Bungie is making with microtransactions in Destiny in the form of the Eververse Trading Company and the selling of emotes for “Silver.”

Of course Bungie is being nice to all of us players, as we’ll all have some Silver in our accounts that will allow us to purchase an emote from the returning Tess Everis once the maintenance concludes and we download patch 2.0.1.

Patch notes will be posted in a separate post once they go live.

The Nightfall, of which there is an overview of below, is probably going to be a rough one this week. I see a lot of folks deciding to sit this one out. It’s the SABER strike, with the Taken at the Warsat, but it also has Arc Burn and Exposure. Once you make it to the giant shank, you’re going to want someone constantly moving around doing nothing by taking out the smaller shanks, especially the sniper shanks that begin spawning near the end.

So let’s get to it and see what Destiny has in store for us this week.
