RAW Reaction & Results – July 4th Edition

RAW July 4, 2016

The July 4, 2016 RAW results are listed below:

  • Rusev defeated Titus O’Neil to retain the U.S. Title in 5:40.
  • Enzo Amore and Big Cass beat Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel in 2:05.
  • Dean Ambrose pinned The Miz in 9:50.
  • Seth Rollins beat Dolph Ziggler in 11:05.
  • Goldust and R-Truth beat The Vaudevillains in 1:25.
  • Becky Lynch beat Summer Rae in 2:55.
  • Big Show, Apollo Crews, Zack Ryder, Bubba Ray Dudley, D-Von Dudley, Mark Henry, Jack Swagger, and Kane beat Cesaro, Alberto Del Rio, Sheamus, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Chris Jericho, Sin Cara, and Kalisto in an elimination tag match in 22:15.

This was an absolutely dreadful episode of RAW. The Rollins/Ziggler match was a good TV match, but the rest of the show (with the quick exception of The Club promo and beat down of John Cena and the New Day/Wyatt Family segment) was just just terrible.

I mean it was a holiday episode, so that this episode was awful isn’t a big shock. The main event was one of the worst RAW main events that I can recall, and that’s just sad considering the talent in the match (the losing Multinational Alliance was absolutely stacked).

If you missed this week’s show, consider yourself lucky.
