Red Dead Redemption 2 Announced for Fall 2017, Trailer Debuts Thursday

It has finally happened! Today, after two days of teasing and some six years of waiting, Rockstar Games has officially announced Red Dead Redemption 2!

The game is tentatively scheduled to release Fall 2017 for PS4 and Xbox One. We won’t have to wait long to get a glimpse at the game though, as the debut trailer will drop this Thursday, October 20th, at 10am CT.

Here’s how Rockstar is describing the game:

An epic tale of life in America’s unforgiving heartland, the game’s vast and atmospheric world will also provide the foundation for a brand new online multiplayer experience.

Smith’s Sentiment: Oh man, I absolutely cannot wait for the trailer to drop. Fall 2017 is going to be rough though, if that’s when Destiny 2 releases as well. What to do when your two favorite games get sequels at around the same time? As much as I enjoyed Grand Theft Auto V, it doesn’t hold a candle to Red Dead Redemption. I’m really pumped to see this trailer and see what exactly Rockstar has in store for us next year, with what looks to be a prequel to Red Dead Redemption.
