Smith’s Sentiment: I’ve been a big fan of this film since the first time I watched many years ago. It’s been awhile since I’ve seen it, as it’s a pretty long movie (four hours) and thus not something to be watched over and over again. If you haven’t seen it before, definitely give it a watch. Of course you may want to set the DVR. Also the 1934 Cleopatra film airs directly before this 1963 version, so don’t get confused. I’ve never seen the 1934 one, but may check that out as well.
