Seth Rollins Injured During Closing Moments of RAW

Pro Wrestling Post

Samoa Joe injures Seth Rollins

A key planned match for WrestleMania may be in jeopardy as Seth Rollins injured his right knee during the final moments of Monday night’s RAW. This is the same knee he previously tore his ACL.

Rollins is in Birmingham, Alabama being evaluated. At this point, it doesn’t look good as Rollins tweeted out the following today:

If Rollins’ injury is severe enough (like another torn ACL), his planned big match against Triple H at WrestleMania will obviously not happen. If that’s the case, it’d be the second WrestleMania in a row that Rollins would have missed due to injury.

The injury came during Seth’s brawl with the debuting Samoa Joe. In the video below (at the 3:20 mark), you can see Joe lock in the Kokina Clutch and when they fall back awkwardly, Rollins can be heard saying “ow!” It sounds like Joe asks him if he’s okay, to which Rollins seemingly replies with “I hope so,” but it’s difficult to make out with Corey Graves talking.

Hopefully the injury isn’t as bad as it initially appears at this point. The entire staff at TVE sends our best wishes to Rollins and hop for a speedy recovery. It would be a travesty if this man has to miss another WrestleMania. We’ll update at the top of the post as more information becomes available.
