Destiny 2 Officially Announced

Destiny 2

Bungie has officially announced, although I suppose teased is probably a better description, Destiny 2 with two images.

They’ve changed their Twitter images and Facebook to show the Destiny 2 logo above plastered over an image of the Traveler and the Last City that is burning.

Destiny 2 Last City burning

Of course a poster for Destiny 2 leaked last week from an Italian GameStop which revealed a September 8th release date and a beta would happen in advance (rumored to take place in June). Bungie hasn’t released anything other than the two images above, but I’d assume the release date for those of us in North America will be September 5th.

A trailer seems imminent. Once Bungie releases more information, we’ll have it covered here.
