Impact Wrestling 4/6/17 Results: Former Stars Return

Impact Wrestling 4/6/17

Tonight’s episode of Impact Wrestling saw a really good 20+ minute Last Man Standing match between Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards. If you missed it, it’s definitely worth looking up online. The show also featured some notable returns as the feud between Josh Matthews and Jeremy Borash has heated up to where the two men have hand picked four individuals to represent them in an eight-man tag match next week.

Here’s the results from the April 6th episode of Impact Wrestling:

  • Eli Drake beat Caleb Konley in 4:15.
  • ODB won a gauntlet battle royal in 9:45 to become the number one contender to the Knockouts Championship.
  • Andrew Everett defeated Marshe Rockett and Suicide in 6:25.
  • Davey Richards defeated Eddie Edwards in 23:15 in a Last Man Standing match.
  • Alberto El Patron defeated John Polk.
  • Jeremy Borash and Josh Matthews made their team selections for a match next week.
  • Team Josh is Bobby Lashley, Bram, Eli Drake, and Tyrus.
  • Team Borash is Alberto El Patron, Chris Adonis (Chris Masters), Matt Morgan, and Magnus.

In true TNA/Impact fashion, they didn’t reveal Magnus on the actual TV show. Instead they sent viewers to their website to find out who got out of the limo. Naturally, it was a solid 10 minutes before they bothered to update their website with the footage, which they posted to Twitter first.

Other than that, it was a pretty solid episode of Impact.
