WWE Teams Up With SEGA For New Mobile Game

WWE is releasing yet another free-to-play mobile game, this time in conjunction with SEGA.

The game is titled WWE Tap Mania, and is an idle game being developed by The Tap Lab which was founded in 2009 and whose games include the likes of Tiny Tycoons, Bigfoot Hunter, BMO Snaps and PolitiCats.

WWE Tap Mania will include a roster made up of current superstars as well as superstars from the past (as is the norm for pretty much every WWE game). It’ll also include live in-game events for WrestleMania, SummerSlam, Royal Rumble, and likely others as well.

“At Sega, we like to find new ways to bring brands and experiences to a wide mobile gaming audience,” said Sega Networks COO Naoki Kameda.

“This partnership with WWE presents a fresh opportunity for collaboration. Working with WWE, a monumental leader in global entertainment, along with The Tap Lab, a studio known for crafting action-packed games that are fun at their core, we’re confident that WWE Tap Mania will delight WWE fans worldwide.”

WWE Tap Mania joins WWE’s mobile free-to-play lineup which includes WWE Supercard, WWE Immortals, and WWE Champions.
