Extreme Rules 2017 Preview

Tonight, the RAW brand goes extreme as WWE presents Extreme Rules LIVE on WWE Network and pay-per-view from the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, MD.

In the main event, five superstars will collide to find out who will challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at Great Balls of Fire. Which superstar will emerge victorious in the Fatal 5-Way when Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Bray Wyatt, Finn Balor, and Samoa Joe compete to become the Number One Contender.

The RAW Women’s Championship is on the line tonight when Alexa Bliss defends against Bayley in a Kendo Stick on a Pole Match. Can Bayley get extreme and recapture her women’s championship?

The RAW Tag Team Championship is also on the line tonight as The Hardy Boyz put the titles up for grabs in a Steel Cage Match against Cesaro and Sheamus. Is tonight the night Sheamus and Cesaro finally recapture the titles, or will the Hardyz continue to have their number?

Dean Ambrose will put his Intercontinental Championship up against The Miz where the stipulation is that Ambrose will lose the the championship if he gets disqualified. Can Ambrose find a way to avoid being DQ’d against notorious cheater The Miz, or will he lose his title in the cheapest way possible?

Also tonight, the Cruiserweight Championship is on the line as Neville defends against Austin Aries in a Submission Mach. Austin Aries has had multiple chances at winning the title but has been cheated repeatedly. Tonight the only way to win is by making the other guy tap out. Is it finally Austin Aries’ time?

Finally, Rich Swann and Sasha Banks take on Noam Dar and Alicia Fox, and in the kickoff match, Kalisto goes one on one with Apollo Crews.

Extreme Rules airs tonight at 7pm CT, with the pre-show starting at 6pm.
