Destiny 2 Release Date Moved Up to September 6th for Consoles

Good news Guardians, you’ll get to play Destiny 2 a little earlier than expected.

A new trailer was shown during the E3 press conference that revealed the new release date is September 6th, two days earlier than the previously announced September 8th launch. That gives the game a Wednesday release, which is odd.

This is not a release date change for just PS4. Bungie’s Luke Smith tweeted that the date is for both PS4 and Xbox One:
