Eric Barone (aka ConcernedApe), developer of Stardew Valley, took to the game’s blog today to share an update on the progression of the multiplayer mode. A beta is expected to begin in Spring.
Eric, who developed the game solo, has been working with Tom Coxon (of Chucklefish) for the multiplayer update with Coxon handling the networking.
When the beta gets closer to launching, we’ll get more details on how multiplayer will work as well as all the new features.
In the meantime, check out the screenshot below showing off crafting signs. If you don’t already own Stardew Valley, check out my review of it here and buy the game because it is excellent (especially if you liked the old Harvest Moon games).
^ These signs are crafting items that will be available to you from the start of the game. Any item in Stardew Valley can be “clicked” onto them to display.
