March is looking like the best month yet for PS4 PlayStation Plus members. The line-up of free games that can be downloaded this month has been released, and March is headlined by the critically acclaimed RPG Bloodborne.
Hunt your nightmares as you search for answers in the ancient city of Yharnam, now cursed with a strange endemic illness spreading through the streets like wildfire. Danger, death and madness lurk around every corner of this dark and horrific world, and you must discover its darkest secrets in order to survive. Bloodborne was developed by From Software and is exclusive to PS4. Don’t miss out on this one, especially if you’re a fan of From Software’s Demon’s/Dark Souls.
Ratchet & Clank co-headlines the month. Based on elements from the original Ratchet & Clank (PS2), Ratchet & Clank brings Insomniac’s classic, out-of-this-world-gameplay to the PS4. Join Ratchet, Clank, Captain Qwark, and their new friends as they battle to save the Solana Galaxy. Armed with an arsenal of original weapons the franchise is renowned for, including the new Pixelizer and fan-favorites like the dance-party-inducing Groovitron, you’ll explore the galaxy and get a deeper look at the origin story of these two beloved characters.
Other games available this month are:
- Legend of Kay – PS3
- Mighty No. 9 – PS3 (Cross Buy with PS4)
- Claire: Extended Cut – PSV (Cross Buy with PS4)
- Bombing Busters – PSV (Cross Buy with PS4)
There’s also a Dungeon Defenders PS Plus Pack that will be available for Dungeon Defenders II beginning March 13th. The pack contains four Shadow Costumes, 1 million in gold, 5 Campaign Shard Packs, 5 Defender Packs, and a Ninja Gato Pet.
Sony also announced that beginning next year, on March 8th, the PS Plus monthly games lineup will only include PS4 titles. So PS Plus lineups will no longer include free PS3 or PS Vita games beginning in one year. This change will not affect PS Plus game saves on those platforms nor will the free plus games be removed from your library on those platforms.
