Former WWE Women’s and Diva’s Champion Beth Phoenix has been announced as the last inductee of the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2017. Wrestling Legend Ivan Koloff Passes Away at 74

More sad news today. Another wrestling legend has passed away. Ivan Koloff, a former WWE Champion, passed away at age 74. “The Russian Bear” debuted in 1961 and enjoyed tremendous success mostly in the National Wrestling Alliance, and the southern territories of Mid-Atlantic, Georgia, and Florida specifically. It’s a real shame that he isn’t in the WWE Hall of Fame. I’m sure he will be eventually, but too late. Chavo Guerrero Sr. Passes Away at 68

Chavo Guerrero Sr. (known as Chavo Classic in WWE) died yesterday at the age of 68. Chavo Classic was the father of Chavo Guerrero Jr. and the brother of the late Eddie Guerrero. He enjoyed a stint in WWE in 2004 working a program with his son and brother, and also capturing the old Cruiserweight Championship. WWE has announced that legendary NWA tag team The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express (Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson) will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2017. The dynamic duo, one of the most popular tag teams of the 1980’s, held many tag team titles in a bunch of promotions including NWA, Smokey Mountain, and USWA.
